This 400 Watt metal Halide Lamp can be used only with a 400 Watt HID Ballast and can be mounted either horizontally or vertically. Add this lamp to your growing room or greenhouse, and you’ve just left the growing confines of day verses night, gloomy verses bright. It’s always day, and it’s always bright.

Digital ballasts truly are the next big leap in indoor gardening technology. Compared to traditional magnetic ballasts, Lumatek Digital Ballasts lose less power from outlet to lamp, provide light at a far more stable level, start up faster (full light in under one minute!), and reduce the noise a system generates by running silently. These low-weight ballasts are internally RF-shielded to minimize electrical interference, they produce far less heat than their traditional counterparts, and short-circuits trigger a power cutoff as a safety measure.

The Lumatek Digital Ballast also lights both HPS and MH lamps for the ultimate in versatility! A 15-foot RF-shielded power cord is included with all ballasts.

The Sunleaves ArcticSun Reflector pictured above is a self-contained unit with built-in six-inch flanges and a safety lens that seals to the reflector to create a completely airtight system. It also features a specular aluminum interior designed to further increase efficiency by maximizing light exposure, as well as a 'Plug 'N Play' hard-wired mogul socket and a common plug that's compatible with most manufacturers' remote ballasts. Measures 18 1/8" x 15 1/4" x 8".
