This newly added Milwaukee pH Meter is a small portable pH Meter that features an ingenious gel-filled, double-life junction electrodes which are removable and replaceable for easy storage and maintenance. The meter measures pH with a range of 0.0 to 14.0, resolution of 0.1 pH and an accuracy of ± 0.2 pH. Calibration is 2-point manual. The compact and portable Milwaukee Dissolved Oxygen Meter delivers fast and reliable readings of the amount of dissolved oxygen in your aquaponic or hydroponic system or other aqueous area. It calibrates easily without using calibration solution. It also has an automatic temperature compensation to guarantee the highest accuracy. Water is always the right temperature for fish and plants when aquaponic gardeners use Sunleaves Titanium Heaters with Digital Thermostats! These heaters use a remote sensor probe to keep constant tabs on water temperature, while the titanium heating element maintains temperatures at a user-defined set point between 68° and 92° F. They shut off automatically and sound an alarm if they’re moved from water or get hotter than 95° F, and the alarm also goes off if the temperature goes under 65° F. The 200W unit is rated 1.8 amps at 115 volts, and is recommended for 50-80 gallon reservoirs. The 300W unit is rated 2.7 amps at 115 volts, and is recommended for use in reservoirs that hold 80 to 120 gallons. Both are protected by one-year manufacturer’s warranties.
We used both of these heaters during our last Fish & Veggie Road Show. We used the 200W Heater to get our fish water warm in the traveling tanks prior to traveling for Arizona. Go to our Show Page to see how that turned out. At the Show, we used the 300W Heater that easily kept the water in our 120 gallon tank at a cozy 76 degrees. (The tank was not full and had approximately 100 gallons of water in it).
